The Remenham Club is again running the Remenham Challenge as a separate winter head race between the Founding Clubs. This will be held on the Tideway on Sunday 16 January 2011 at 12:30, over a downriver course from Chiswick Pier to the London RC flagpole.
Dick Welch, the membership secretary, has prepared a short report on the breakdown of the membership by club, with a short comment on the length of the waiting list for membership and the likely wait for a new addition to that list.

Members should be advised that the ticketing operation will transfer to Henley from Tuesday evening.
The ticket secretary will not be at home to receive either email or telephone calls.

As listed in the Card of Arrangements, the AGM will commence at 11:45 on Sunday, 27th June, followed at 12:30 by the Club Party.
Guest tickets for the Saturday of this year’s Regatta have now sold out. Members requiring tickets for Saturdays for guests will have to wait until the start of the Regatta and enquire about returns at the Treasurer’s Box.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the recent passing of Den Shelton of Staines Boat Club and emeritus vice-president of Remenham Club.
Den rowed in a very successful SBC 8+ in the 1950s and served on Remenham Club’s committee for many years.
